OMG the last 2 weeks have been busy visiting relos and friends interstate and practically being force fed ridiculous amounts of JUNK! I can't believe the way that some of my family and extended families eat. Bleurgh. The in-laws pretty much eat a combination of meat, cheese and flour in some form or another. After one night of lasagne, chips, chocolate and soft drink I was craving my fruit and vegies! I guess that just goes to show that my mindset surrounding food has changed. That's what all the diet-people want isn't it? A lifestyle change...? I think I'm on the right track.
Although I didn't lose any weight while I was away, I didn't put on either. This past week just gone however, I have managed to lose another kilo according to my friend's scales. Speaking of my friend's scales, I don't know if I can trust them or not. They have always weighed me at 2kgs heavier than my WiiFit has and needless to say I've always gone with the WiiFit's lighter reading :P This morning though, I weighed myself on the Wiifit and got 92 point something-or-other, which meant my friend's scales would have weighed me at 94ish kgs. But something's happened! I got on my friend's scales today and it read 92.5 meaning I've lost 1.5kg!!!?!?!?! So confused because the WiiFit weight didn't go down, but my friend's scales did. At least both scales are pretty much the same now so hopefully it will make future weighing easier.
I have been walking like crazy the past week. 2 X 40min walks most days! Woo hoo. I can feel the walks getting easier so I've extended the route by an extra block. Scale friend and I went on a massive walk the other day, I think we were gone about 2hours! The weather's warming up with Summer just around the corner and the days are beautiful so I really have no excuses for not getting out there and hitting the pavement.
Oh yes, just for something else to measure, I took my hip, waist and bust measurements to see if they're getting smaller. As of two days ago, my measurements are:
Bust: 110.5cm
Waist: 99cm
Hip: 123cm.
or, for those not of the metric system:
Bust: 43.5in
Waist: 38.9in
Hip: 48.5in
Just something else to measure in a weeks time.
I made a really yummy salad the other day. It had:
Lettuce
Sun-dried tomato
Capsicum
Asparagus
Avocado
Green Beans
Tiny bit of feta
Spinach
I've probably forgotten some things, but it was delish.
